Headlights are essential for your driving safety, as they allow you to see and be seen at night or in other low-light conditions. Your headlight bulbs can fail or get damaged, and you'll need new headlights from your Chevy dealer. Water that enters the cavity will quickly dry in the heat and leave behind tell-tale white dots inside the lens. If you see these dots, your cover needs replacement. High Beams Don't Work Your headlights can be adjusted between low beam and high beam the high beam is particularly useful in the dark when there are no other vehicles. This beam is angled to shine directly ahead, which gives you a clear view of the road in front of you. These beams shouldn't be used when there are other cars on the streets. The beam's angle can temporarily blind an oncoming driver and cause an accident. A switch on your dash controls high and low beams. This switch activates an electrical relay that adjusts the beam's angle. A damaged relay prevents the angle from changing from a low to a high beam.
