We’ve compiled a short list of some of our favorite spots in Flint that serve up fresh and delicious sushi dishes.
Habachi Buffet
Habachi Buffet, located at 3022 S Linden Rd in Flint, is open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and stays open until 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. While sushi is on the menu, Hibachi also serves up an assortment of other options that include beef dishes, soups, salads, and more. Patrons can also celebrate special events in Habachi’s banquet room that seats up to 100 people.
The restaurant’s lunch buffet is available from Monday to Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., while the weekday dinner buffet is served on Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The weekend dinner buffet is open from 4 pm to 9:30 pm. On Sundays, Hibachi Buffet serves an all-day buffet from the time they open until closing time.
Sagano Japanese Bistro & Steakhouse
Sagano is a popular dining spot located at 2065 S Linden Rd in Flint. The restaurant has been serving customers since its opening in December of 2005, and patrons who frequent Saganos have the option of enjoying fresh sushi and sashimi, and other Japanese cuisine as well. The Hibachi-style dishes at Sagano are cooked on an iron griddle right in front of you, allowing guests to watch their food being prepared to perfection.
Sagano’s is open Monday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for dinner; Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for dinner; Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for dinner; and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Ichiban Japanese Cuisine
Ichiban Japanese Bistro is a must-visit restaurant for anyone in the Flint area. Located in Grand Blanc at 2381 E Hill Suite 3, it’s just a 10-minute drive from Flint and offers some of the most delicious sushi and Japanese cuisine you’ll find anywhere. The sushi menu is extensive and offers traditional favorites such as tempura, rolls, miso soups, and plenty more. If you’re popping out for a lunch break, Ichiban also offers lunch specials.
Ichiban is open Monday to Friday from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. for Dinner. On Saturdays, the restaurant extends its dinner hour until 10:30 p.m. Sunday hours are from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
