Red 2022 Chevy Blazer zooming on a road. The 2021 Chevy Blazer is one of the best mid-size SUVs on the market right now. With an exterior design inspired by the Camaro, the blazer looks more like a sporty-muscle car than a dependable family wagon. The inside is stuffed with high-end tech and safety features that keep you and your family protected and entertained. There are six different trim options to choose from, meaning you are sure to find one which is the perfect fit for you.

1. Excellent Basic Engine

The engine that comes as standard with the Chevy is extremely sturdy. The 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder EcoTec motor produces a cracking 193 hp and is capable of towing 1,500 pounds, perfect for those who like to pack the kitchen sink and go exploring.

Due to advanced technologies, the fuel economy is very good and you can look forward to an MPG of 21 for city driving and 27 when on the highway.

2. Two Additional Powertrains

Don’t worry if you feel you need a bit more oomph, Chevy has you covered with two further powertrains available. The first is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which generates 227 hp and is more economic than the base option, with a combined MPG of 25.

The third powertrain is the best for drivers who will be doing some significant towing. The 3.6-liter V6 cranks out 308 hp and has a hauling capacity of 4,500 pounds when coupled with the correct towing upgrades.

3. Sumptuous Interior

Whichever trim you choose, the standard or the premium, you will find an elegant and luxurious interior. The sophisticated design makes for an enjoyable driving experience that you will look forward to every time.

If you live in an area that has extreme seasonal temperature shifts, then the Premier trim is the model you should consider with its added ventilation and advanced heated seating settings.

4. State of the Art Safety

While the standard trim comes with great safety features, the mid-range 2LT model is where you will start to see some of the more advanced alerts and technologies. Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning are included with the 2LT trim.

All of these systems use a combination of radar and other sensors to pick up on obstacles or obstructions around the vehicle to warn the driver of dangerous situations or potential collisions. The 3LT trim includes even more impressive safety systems like blind-spot monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

5. Advanced Infotainment

The infotainment system in each Blazer model is exceptional and is presented on a large and vibrant 8-inch screen. Connectivity is taken care of with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allowing for contactless use of your smartphone.

If a top-of-the-line sound system is a deal-breaker for you, then we recommend the Premier model. This comes with a crystal clear 8-speak Bose set-up which delivers an intense and immersive audio experience.
