The Flint Farmers’ Market at 300 East First Street in Flint is packed with harvest goodness during the fall season. Browse the stalls for crispy fresh fall fruits and vegetables. 3. Admire the Fall Colors at For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum

One of the most beautiful places to admire the fall foliage is the For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum at 2142 N Genesee Road in Burton, a quick five-mile drive from Flint. Pull on a warm sweater and hiking boots and head down the nature trails to explore the breathtaking 267-acre preserve and 116-acre arboretum. Hike along Kearsley Creek and through the woods to see the spectacular autumn colors.

4. Enjoy Fall Family Fun at Montrose Orchards

Head to Montrose Orchards at 12473 Seymour Road in Montrose, 22 miles away from Flint, at the end of October for exciting fall fun for the whole family. The farm grows pears, plums, cherries, blueberries, and over 30 varieties of apples. Go on a hay ride through the orchard, find the biggest and best pumpkin in the patch, and enjoy glasses of apple cider.

5. Find Your Way Through the Corn Maze

Head 26 miles down the road to Corunna at 450 North Vernon Road to navigate the four professionally designed, mapped, and cut corn mazes. The enormous Country Corn Maze has 7.8 miles of winding paths cut into a 25-acre cornfield. The kids can find their way through the Farm Tracks maze and hunt for pumpkins, and afterward, there are delicious apple donuts and cider.
