Under the LS model's hood sits a 137-horsepower, 1.2-liter EcoTec Turbo engine that puts out 162 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also available in the LT, or you can upgrade to a 155-horsepower, 1.3-liter EcoTec Turbo engine that generates 174 pound-feet of torque. The larger EcoTec Turbo engine comes standard in the ACTIV and RS, giving these models a 1,000-pound towing capacity. The engine's innovative fuel-saving features help the Trailblazer get up to 33 mpg on the highway.
Performance
The 2023 Trailblazer comes standard with an agile front-wheel-drive that gives it incredible flexibility for maneuvering through traffic, taking tight turns, and merging onto busy highways. With Snow and Tow Modes, the front-wheel-drive Trailblazer can optimize performance in specific situations. Equipping your Trailblazer with the available all-wheel-drive system enables it to adapt to even more challenging driving conditions by sending power to all four wheels. When conditions are stable, the system can revert to front-wheel functionality to conserve fuel. Front-wheel-drive models feature a continuously variable transmission, and all-wheel-drive models have a nine-speed automatic.
Interior
